Tehran, April 18, IRNA – Iran won 179 points and became the champion of Asian Freestyle Wrestling Championship 2021 held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, April (17-18), with three gold, three silver, and two bronze medals.
Hassan Yazdani (86 kg), Kamran Qassempour (92 kg), and Ali Shaababi (97 kg) won gold medals for Iran.
Alireza Sarlak (57 kg), Mostafa Hosseinkhani (74 kg), and Ali Savadkuhi (79 kg) won silver medals.
Also, Morteza Qiassi (65 kg) and Amin Taheri (125 kg) manage to win bronze medal for Iran.
In the Asian event, India and Kazakhstan became second and third with 151 and 149 points.
